Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer - Entry Level

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security tools and dashboards for suspicious activity, performing initial triage and analysis of security alerts as needed.
  • Document incidents accurately and maintain clear records in the ticketing system, ensuring timely escalation according to procedures.
  • Conduct vulnerability scanning and assist in patch management follow-ups, staying up-to-date with the latest cyber threats and attack vectors.
  • Support user awareness campaigns and phishing simulations, maintaining a strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and best practices.
  • Assist in compliance audits and documentation, providing valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, firewalls, and DNS, as well as operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
  • Familiarity with common cybersecurity tools and concepts, including antivirus software, phishing attacks, malware, and ransomware.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
