Secure Cyber Future Architect

We seek a seasoned expert to spearhead our cybersecurity endeavors. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of cloud security, DevSecOps automation, risk governance, and incident response, with a proven track record of leading security transformations in large-scale organizations.

This is a senior role where the candidate will be expected to establish the cybersecurity team from scratch and lead the vertical, ensuring robust governance, scalability, and long-term resilience for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide security architecture and frameworks across multi-cloud environments.
  • Lead secure SDLC adoption, threat modeling, application security reviews, and WAF implementation.
  • Drive DevSecOps practices, including automation of compliance checks, vulnerability management, and secure infrastructure provisioning.

Cybersecurity Vertical Ownership

  • Establish and grow the Cybersecurity team from the ground up, setting up processes, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Act as the head of the Cybersecurity vertical, accountable for strategy, execution, and reporting to leadership.
  • Build a strong pipeline of security talent and mentor engineers to achieve maturity in security operations.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, PSD2, SOC2).
  • Partner with leadership to balance business needs with security risk tolerance, translating technical risk into actionable business decisions.
  • Continuously improve security policies, procedures, and audit readiness.

Cybersecurity Operations & Incident Response

  • Work with SOC and Incident Response teams to detect, investigate, and remediate security threats and incidents.
  • Develop and optimize incident response playbooks to improve containment, recovery, and resilience.
  • Implement proactive monitoring and security automation to reduce exposure to malicious events.

Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices across development and infrastructure teams.
  • Provide strategic mentorship to engineers and stakeholders on threat trends, secure coding, and compliance.
  • Lead documentation, training, and awareness programs to promote a strong security culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
  • 17+ years of proven cybersecurity experience across cloud, DevSecOps, application security, and compliance.
  • Certifications: ISC2 CCSP, AWS Solutions Architect (Pro), Azure Security Engineer, CEH Master, Google Cloud Architect, ITIL.
  • Hands-on expertise in:
  • AWS/Azure security services, IAM, Terraform, Okta/AD, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Secure network design (VPCs, firewalls, WAFs).
  • Application and product security reviews.
  • Security automation and compliance monitoring tools.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
