Precast Construction Modeler Role

As a key figure in our design, planning, and execution processes, the Precast Construction Modeler plays a pivotal role in driving innovation through Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BIM Model Development and Management: Lead the creation and management of BIM models for precast construction projects, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and project management, to seamlessly integrate BIM workflows into project delivery.
  • 3D Model Creation and Documentation: Utilize Tekla software to create detailed 3D models, perform clash detection, and generate comprehensive construction documentation.
  • BIM Standards Establishment: Establish and enforce robust BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within our business unit.
  • Technical Guidance and Training: Provide expert guidance and training to team members on BIM tools and methodologies.
  • External Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate effectively with external stakeholders, including contractors and consultants, to ensure alignment on BIM deliverables.
  • BIM Effectiveness Evaluation: Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of BIM implementation, identifying areas for improvement and driving ongoing innovation.
  • Strategic Planning Support: Support the Head Engineering in strategic planning and decision-making related to BIM adoption and technology investments.
  • Timely Delivery Assurance: Ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs to meet project milestones and client expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • BIM Tool Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in Tekla software and other BIM tools, with a strong portfolio of precast modeling projects.
  • BIM Management Experience: A minimum of 12 years of experience in BIM management, with a focus on infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Demonstrated Expertise: Proven expertise in implementing BIM workflows and standards in large-scale projects.
