Junior Architect Job Description

A Junior Architect plays a vital role in bridging design and execution. They assist in the preparation of architectural plans, layouts, and interior spaces, focusing on aesthetics, functionality, and compliance with building codes. Proficient in CAD software, they develop detailed drawings and 3D models to support project visualization and execution.

On the construction site, a Junior Architect collaborates with senior architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that designs are implemented accurately, on schedule, and within budget. They also help resolve design-related issues during construction, prepare documentation, and ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design building layouts and interior spaces with a balance of aesthetics and functionality.
  • Prepare architectural plans, drawings, Presentation and Tender documentation in line with codes and regulations.
  • Create detailed CAD drawings and 3D models for design and execution.
  • Collaborate with clients, senior architects, engineers, and contractors to translate designs into reality.
  • Monitor on-site execution to ensure alignment with project specifications and resolve design issues.
  • Support project delivery within budget and timelines while maintaining quality standards.
