The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance engineering.

About the Role

This is a full-time remote position where you'll be responsible for executing tests, ensuring quality, and conducting manual testing. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, improving overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure high-quality products
  • Conduct thorough manual testing to identify defects and improve test automation strategies
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
  • Analyze and document test results to inform product improvements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG), and frameworks is also essential. Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) is preferred. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and version control systems like Git. Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools (Scrum, Kanban) is a bonus.
