Technical Specialist Leader

Job Description

The Technical Specialist Leader will be part of the Information Management (IM) function, responsible for administering and executing configuration management changes to ensure CMDB data integrity and robustness.

This role works closely with the IT ServiceNow System Admin and all process owners within IT, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the accuracy and completeness of CMDB data by identifying and resolving data inconsistencies.
  • Establishing relationships between CIs to accurately reflect dependencies within the IT infrastructure.
  • Performing data cleansing and deduplication activities to optimize data quality.
  • Managing the CMDB module, improving data representation accuracy and consistency.
  • Developing and tracking key performance indicators for CMDB health, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience in an IT industry, with a focus on technical leadership and expertise.
  • 5 years of experience with ServiceNow, specifically in IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Experience in ServiceNow CMDB, ITOM, SAM (Software Asset Management), and HAM (Hardware Asset Management) Module.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and components, including servers, networks, and applications.
  • ITIL certified, with experience in implementing ITIL processes and methodologies.
Preferred Skills
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to the CMDB.
  • Experience in Agile Methodology, with a focus on iterative development and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
