Software Packaging Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Packaging Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer application packaging requirements.

  • Migrating applications from legacy systems is crucial for success in this role. Proficiency in Windows migration projects, with a focus on application packaging and testing, is essential.
  • The successful candidate should have rich experience in Admin Studio and Install Shield, as well as VB/WMI scripting, Batch Scripting, PowerShell scripting, and the PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit.
  • Expertise in application testing and remediation techniques for producing compatible applications is vital, including knowledge of tools like ACT 5.6.
  • A solid understanding of virtualization technologies, specifically VMware Workstation and Oracle Virtual Box, is necessary for working on virtual builds.
  • The ability to create and repackage applications using various packaging tools, such as Wise or Admin Studio, is also required.
  • Proficiency in Windows Installer Technologies - MSI Packaging, Tables, Custom Actions, and Standard Actions is a must-have skill.
  • Familiarity with Application Virtualization Technologies, particularly App-V 4.6 and 5.0, is also necessary.
