The field of software development in healthcare is rapidly growing and offers many opportunities. As a senior developer, you will have the chance to contribute to innovative tools that support healthcare performance, cost, and quality.

Health Catalyst is expanding its suite of Improvement Apps, which contribute to healthcare analytics and process improvement solutions. These products help manage health system populations, better serve patients at the point of care, reduce health system costs, and reduce clinician workload.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain various platforms that serve clinicians and patients.
  • Use Test-Driven Development to enhance and refactor our system, shipping production code multiple times per week.
  • Analyze data, provide ongoing reports relating to patient engagement with content.
  • Contribute to database design, implementation, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical analysis and data quality used in ML/AI services.
  • Maintain databases/data systems that can be incorporated into our data products.
Requirements:
  • Strong working knowledge of C#/.Net/ Angular / Microservices/ DS&A.
  • Strong working knowledge of CI/CD.
  • Cloud (azure) experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy, in a timely manner.
  • Adept at constructing efficient queries, writing reports, and presenting findings.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize work scheduling.

This role requires delivering exceptional products, following established patterns and approaches within existing code bases with ease. You will also take ownership of learning and growth, capitalizing on internal and external opportunities for learning.

You may bring cloud infrastructure and architecture pattern experience, either Azure or AWS preferred. Software development experience within healthcare IT and an understanding of key data models and interoperability standards are also desirable.
