Job Title: Cloud Native Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled professional to design, implement and optimize our enterprise-grade cloud-native infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and experience with DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architecture & Strategy
  • Create end-to-end architecture for AKS-based workloads in Azure.
  • Design multi-environment, multi-region AKS architectures for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Establish best practices for container orchestration, scaling and governance in AKS.
  • Advise on cost optimization strategies for AKS and related Azure resources.
  • Azure & AKS Expertise
  • Architect and provision AKS clusters with features like cluster and node pool autoscaling, private cluster configuration, network isolation using Azure CNI / Kubenet and managed identities and Azure AD integration.
  • Integrate AKS with supporting Azure services including Azure Monitor, Managed Prometheus & Grafana, Azure Container Registry (ACR), and Azure Key Vault.
  • DevOps & Automation
  • Design Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates for AKS provisioning.
  • Implement GitOps workflows such as ArgoCD or Flux for automated deployments.
  • Define CI/CD architecture using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins for AKS workloads.
  • Security & Compliance
  • Architect RBAC and Azure AD security models for AKS access.
  • Integrate security scanning for container images and Kubernetes workloads.
  • Ensure alignment with compliance frameworks and governance policies.
  • Monitoring, Logging, & Observability
  • Architect observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Managed Prometheus, Container Insights and Grafana.
  • Establish automated alerting, anomaly detection and incident response playbooks.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Architecture or related roles.
  • 5+ years hands-on Azure experience with deep AKS expertise.
  • Strong technical expertise in Kubernetes architecture & troubleshooting, Azure networking, IaC tools and container security and governance.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, secure and cost-effective AKS solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
  • Experience with service mesh architectures, multi-cluster management tools and workload migration to AKS.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to lead design workshops and architecture reviews.
  • Strategic problem-solver with hands-on implementation skills.
