We are seeking an expert in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to join our organization. With 12+ years of experience, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing our SRE strategy.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting an 'Automate-first' culture and reducing toil in our operating services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing methodologies and strategies for identifying and eliminating toil-heavy processes.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to develop service level objectives and error budgets.
  • Designing and implementing reliability improvements, including capacity planning and chaos engineering exercises.
  • Leading architectural reviews and driving continuous improvement from incidents.
  • Contributing to test and deployment processes to ensure reliability and automation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on SRE practitioner with 5+ years of experience in an SRE role.
  • Practical experience defining and implementing service level objectives and operating to error budgets.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability technologies, as well as corporate software development lifecycle methodology.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of critical production support processes.
  • 2+ years of experience with public/private cloud platforms.
Desired Skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of SRE principles and ability to evangelize.
  • Working knowledge of modern observability tooling, including OpenTelemetry and Prometheus.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and design.
  • Extensive knowledge of configuration management solutions such as Ansible and Chef.
