Job Responsibilities:
This role involves overseeing logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and vendor relations. You will work closely with other departments to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain processes, from manufacturing to customer delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments to plan inventory levels and optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Work with transportation providers to optimize routes and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Oversee the distribution network, ensuring that products reach their destination on time and in good condition.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure favorable pricing and service agreements.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the logistics function.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
- Prepare and analyze logistics reports, including KPIs, to assess and improve overall logistics performance.
Requirements:
1. 3-5 years of experience in SC operations, preferably in the personal care or consumer goods industry.
2. Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
3. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
4. Proficient in using MS excel/Google sheets for logistics.
5. Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
6. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
