Project Manager Role Overview

You will be the supply-chain backbone of our solar projects, ensuring every item reaches site on time and within budget.

As a Procurement Specialist - Projects, you will partner with vendors to deliver flawless procurement and logistics.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Procure civil items locally within approved limits.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure timely material availability in accordance with the construction schedule.
  • Align with the SCM team on procurement status, vendor approvals, and project deliverables.
  • Maintain a local vendor database for civil items and consumables.
  • Ensure procurement follows policies, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Monitor and report material inflow/outflow, consumption, and stock levels.
  • Support material reconciliation for civil items during and after project execution.
  • Coordinate with logistics for safe and timely transportation of materials to the site.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation (POs, GRNs, invoices, vendor records).
  • Assist in resolving material shortages, delays, or quality issues at the site in coordination with the SCM team.

You will independently manage multiple vendors to negotiate prices & close work orders at the site level.

You will also source specialized manpower for electrical, structure, and substation.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction materials and consumables.
  • Understanding of local procurement practices and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with procurement documentation (POs, GRN, invoices).
  • Good coordination and negotiation skills for vendor interaction.
  • Ability to work closely with the site team and SCM under tight timelines.
  • B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering OR Graduate with relevant SCM/procurement experience.
  • 5–8 years of experience in procurement/supply chain of construction/renewable/industrial projects.
