Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Financial Planning Analyst to conduct complex financial analysis, develop sales plans, and maintain accurate inventory reports. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, business acumen, and proficiency in MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) analysis at Product Category, Segment, and Company level to optimize profitability.
  • Perform Sales Analysis including Profitability by Channel, Region, State, SOF, and Customer for exports and domestic markets.
  • Develop the Annual Sales Plan with SKU-wise / Category-wise / Segment-wise Sales Value and Tonnage comparison against previous budget and current year estimates.

Costing & Margin Analysis:

  • Prepare daily product costing for Marketing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Actual Monthly Gross Margin Statements for Products, Categories, Segments, OEMs, and Exports.
  • Conduct Bill of Material and Gross Margin Analysis including Nil Margin vs Nil Margin comparison and Year-on-Year comparative analysis.

Inventory & Revenue Reporting:

  • Prepare Finished Goods Holding Days report aligned with forward sales plan.
  • Calculate and analyze Norms vs Actuals for SKUs, Categories, and Segments.
  • Deliver accurate and timely Revenue Reports for Senior Management review.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business is required.
  • Professional certifications like MBA, ACCA, or CIMA are preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Marketing Finance or Financial Planning & Analysis is necessary.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and database management systems is essential.

  • Strong understanding of Accounting Principles and advanced Financial Analysis techniques.
  • Business acumen with ability to interpret changing sales trends and influence decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP and financial planning software.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
