Job Title: Structural Design Expert

About the Role:

  • Design and develop 3D models of structural elements consistent with industry guidelines and standards.
  • Annotate, dimension, and detail 2D production drawings in accordance with established practices.
  • Manage the Building Information Modelling (BIM) workflow including folder organization, sheet sets, geo-location, plots, conversions, and transmittals.
  • Maintain structural BIM / CAD files for use in design drawings.
  • Collaborate with engineers and clients to coordinate model content and approaches, model exchanges, quality control, and delivery.
  • Use tools like Navisworks for project collaboration across multiple disciplines.
  • Prepare and review project deliverables for client submissions.
  • Create 3D views or renderings as needed for marketing or project use.

Requirements:

  • 0 to 3 years of experience in preparing structural construction documents using Revit/BIM project delivery.
  • Proficient in Revit software.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD software.
  • Strong understanding of building construction.
  • Ability to think in 3-D.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with a willingness to collaborate.

Note: Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in AutoCAD and Revit.
