Microbiologist Role

About the Job:

You will contribute to our team by owning the testing and decisions around substantiating antimicrobial claims for new projects. This involves providing microbiological support for development of new products across categories, especially personal care and surface care brands.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support product development teams in substantiating antimicrobial claims for new projects
  • Independently plan and conduct experiments to evaluate the antimicrobial efficacy of prototype formulations, finished products as per global and internal standard methods
  • Contribute towards continuous improvement of laboratory procedures and best practices and recommend minor modifications to existing techniques, processes, systems, or programs
  • Maintain lab records in compliance with Microbiology Laboratory and Global Quality standards
  • Liaise with external laboratories in a professional and productive manner to ensure delivery of results on time

Requirements:

  • Experience in manufacturing industry with hands-on experience of conducting antimicrobial performance evaluations using global standards like EN, ASTM, and ISO, preferably EN1276, EN1650, EN13697, etc.

  • Effective communication skills to interact with global team members
