Position Description Business Division R DDepartment Analytical Location UDAIPUR Position Title Research Scientist - Analytical Reporting to Title Group Leader Level E2- E4 Position Purpose The Position will be responsible for assisting in analytical method development of assigned project within given timeframe as per Safety and Environmental rules Raw materials and finished products analysis Generating COA and compiling documents Proactiveness to trouble shoot any complexity during analysis Strategic Responsibilities To understand the analytical scope of the project assigned Inputs in planning of analytical support to R D and Plant Timely calibration of assigned instruments Proper house- keeping and use of PPE s Use relevant MSDS for safe handling and disposals of toxic chemicals Operational Responsibilities Assist in analytical method development as per planning Co-ordination with R D for analytical support development Authenticity of the result generated Troubleshooting Data interpretation skills Analytical Support to kilo lab pilot plant manufacturing site during technology transfer Data compilation and time to time update of KL PP plant trials Financial Responsibilities Contribute to budgetary controls within the area of responsibility People Responsibilities Utilization of all available sources for skill up-gradation Actively participation in problem solving sessions training programs Coordination and communication with team To guide subordinates Education Qualification Master in Organic Chemistry from a reputed University Institute Work Experience 1-5 year experience Industry to be Hired from Agro chemicals fine chemicals pharma-API Specialty chemicals Functional Competencies Knowledge of Processes related to EHS Scientific Knowledge O Data Analysis Compliance Regulatory Knowledge Interaction Complexity and Team Work Contact Person mention the level position that the position-holder will interact with Frequency Nature of Interaction Peer s Head of Analytical or Executive in the same or other plant As when required Telephonic or face to Customer s Internal Heads Managers of other department As when required face Vendor s Not applicable As when required Telephonic or face to Any other external interactions GPCB AEPS
