Accounts Receivable Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background and 4-9 years of relevant work experience in accounts receivable, including billing, invoicing, cash application, and customer reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Understand basic billing and invoicing processes, including generating invoices and managing cash receipts.
  2. Be conversant with online tools and systems, including CRM software and accounting platforms.
  3. Assist with day-to-day calls/queries relating to billing processes, providing timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.
  4. Provide regular reporting of activities and progress reports to seniors, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  5. Resolve inquiries/queries related to Billing, adhere to policy guidelines for billing, and provide guidance to colleagues on billing procedures.
  6. Follow up with field location team for necessary supporting documents required for billing, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  7. Manage and recover outstanding payments from customers, negotiating payment plans and resolving disputes in a professional and courteous manner.
  8. Investigate and address customer concerns related to billing, payments, or account discrepancies, providing effective solutions and follow-up actions.
  9. Download bank statements for all accounts, verify accuracy, and reconcile orders to match customer books.
  10. Provide bank statements, remittances, and correspondences received to the collectors on the same day, ensuring timely communication and action.
  11. Perform regular standard tasks of Customer Invoicing Processing function, including collating remittances for Cash/Wire/Cheque payments received and applying them to the correct invoice using Remittance Advice from customers or related collectors.
  12. Ensure that cash is applied only based on the defined process without exceptions, maintaining financial integrity and control.
