As a key player in our cloud infrastructure, the Cloud Infrastructure Operations Senior Engineer plays a pivotal role in maintaining the continuity and upkeep of our cloud platforms.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, this senior engineer will be responsible for providing extended support to our UK business while meeting flexible working hour demands to accommodate our global needs.

The team is committed to empowering engineers to drive innovation, automation, and growth within our digital estate.

Key requirements include:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in the IT industry
  • In-depth knowledge of different cloud technologies and platforms, with a strong emphasis on Azure expertise
  • Understanding of cloud governance, best practices, and policies within Azure
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • A track record of delivering effective support and troubleshooting services for cloud infrastructure, including incident management and root cause analysis

Additional skills and qualifications include:

  • Experience in identifying inefficiencies and implementing automated solutions to improve overall efficiency
  • Ability to contribute to building out our presence by mentoring and guiding teams and individuals
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud solutions
  • Understanding of inventory management and software assurance, as well as CMDB and/or other asset management tooling

Desirable skills and qualifications include:

  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies and technologies – Git, Azure DevOps (or equivalent) and CI/CD Pipelines
  • Relevant cloud and/or technology discipline certification, especially AZ-104
  • Scripting proficiency in relevant disciplines and/or within Cloud Automation

As a storage expert, we expect proficiency in storage technologies, strong knowledge of storage protocols, and experience with storage management tools.
