A key component of this strategy is a Telco-grade cloud that is built in India, for India. This cloud platform offers Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Observability, and a cloud management platform. It also provides cloud security posture management across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

The key responsibilities of a Chief Cloud Strategist include understanding client business goals, current and future cloud architecture, and migration paths for cloud solutions. They must translate business requirements into technical solutions using enterprise architecture principles. Additionally, they will lead and participate in RFP/bid processes, preparing technical solutions, costing, and proposals.

A successful Chief Cloud Strategist must possess expertise in cloud architecture, including multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, DevOps, migration, security, and elasticity. They will collaborate with business, cloud architecture, product, engineering, DevOps, and security teams to deliver robust customer solutions. The role requires strong skills in Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud automation, and scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.

Key qualifications for this role include proven experience designing and delivering projects with hyperscalers and private cloud providers. Leadership experience in end-to-end cloud transformation and consulting engagements is also essential. Cloud architect certifications are preferred, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

The ideal candidate will have executive presence, ability to influence decision-makers, and excellent communication skills. They must be able to present solutions to C-level executives and technical teams, deliver proof-of-concepts, and integration architectures.
