Job Role & Responsibilities

This role plays a key strategic and operational leadership part in ensuring discipline at the city level.

As the control anchor for all governance-related practices, you will be responsible for implementing and enforcing processes, policies, and compliance mechanisms across various teams, including Sales, Design functions, project execution, and customer experience.

  • City Governance & Compliance
    • Implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to drive compliance across teams – Sales, design, execution, and vendor experience.
    • Conduct regular checks to ensure adherence to process frameworks.
    • Identify and address operational control gaps impacting service quality, timelines, or cost.
  • Risk Management & Compliance Adherence
    • Monitor and resolve governance risks related to financial, operational, or service quality issues.
    • Proactively address non-compliance or deviations related to internal stakeholders, such as:
      • Sales Team - Enhance customer interactions, communication excellence, customer visits to experience centers, and booking processes.
      • Design Teams - Ensure DIP timeline adherence, project delays, scope misalignment, or documentation gaps.
      • Project Managers - Adhere to SOPs, handle customer escalations, or quality lapses.
      • Supply Chain / Modular Coordination Teams - Address delays in delivery, product mismatch, or installation issues.
      • Operations Team - Execute tasks efficiently, maintain clear communication with customers, and complete closure processes on time.
      • Document repeated incidents and drive systemic corrective actions and policy reinforcement.
  • Audit Readiness & Documentation Excellence
    • Ensure all project, partner, and compliance documentation is in audit-ready format.
    • Lead quarterly internal audits across verticals and ensure timely closure of findings.
    • Track and update governance metrics through structured dashboards and trackers.
  • Stakeholder Coordination & Partnership Development
    • Liaise with city ops, design teams, and PMs to foster a governance-first mindset.
    • Collaborate directly with partners (design, execution, vendors) to clarify compliance expectations and accountability.
    • Organize workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on new or revised SOPs.
  • Reporting & Escalation Management
    • Prepare comprehensive city-level compliance reports and governance scorecards for business reviews.
    • Present RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and recommend preventive measures.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduation / Post Graduation
  • 6-8 years of experience in governance, compliance, risk management, vendor operations, or audit roles in a city-level or field operations capacity.
  • Practical knowledge of SOP enforcement, audit trails, documentation, and stakeholder training.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and reporting skills with a bias for action.
  • Background in real estate, interior design, consumer services, or execution-led businesses preferred.
