Financial Operations Manager

About the Role
- We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to oversee end-to-end financial operations and manage general ledger processes across multiple entities.
This is a pivotal role that demands strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and strategic thinking. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for driving timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and policies.
- Manage core accounting functions including general ledger, payroll, utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Handle reconciliations related to capital assets, trust accounts, check runs, fixed asset activity, and debt activity.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to generate timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
- Ensure seamless integration with international financial reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the entire finance team and management to align with departmental and organizational goals.
- Continuously assess and improve processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and use of resources within the department.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certified Accountant (CA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), or semi-qualified professionals with 8 - 9 years of relevant combined experience (including training).
- Proven experience in overseeing accounting operations and managing general ledger processes across multiple entities.
- Solid understanding of Income Tax and GST provisions, with practical application to day-to-day transactions.
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written, with the ability to engage confidently across teams and with leadership.
- Hands-on experience with ZOHO and Tally is essential.
Work Environment
Our office is located in Central Bangalore with convenient access to public transportation.
