Testing Expert for Murex Solutions

The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of the Front Office (FO) and Back Office (BO) modules in Murex, with a focus on static data. Experience working with Fixed Income and Security flows is highly desirable. Additionally, exposure to MxTest, CI/CD tools, and Agile methodologies will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Murex modules, ensuring thorough testing of Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Interfaces, and other components.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing using automation tools, ensuring seamless execution of test cases.
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and support teams to understand requirements and validate system behavior, guaranteeing alignment with project objectives.
  • Implement automation frameworks and ensure reusability, maintainability, and scalability of scripts, facilitating efficient testing processes.
  • Track defects, log issues, and retest in coordination with development teams, promoting prompt issue resolution.
  • Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution cycles, contributing to the overall success of the project.
  • Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices, maintaining high-quality testing standards.
  • Provide regular status updates and test progress reports to stakeholders, fostering transparency and open communication.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5+ years of overall experience in Murex testing, with expertise in relevant tools and technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Murex automation Tools, demonstrating proficiency in their use.
  • Strong understanding of Murex architecture and workflows, including FO, BO, Risk, Accounting, and Interfaces.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Java, Python, or similar) for automation, ensuring effective script development.
  • Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, or similar), facilitating efficient test process management.
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for test data validation, ensuring accurate data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, embracing iterative development and continuous improvement.

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
