F&B Operational Trainer

As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing training programs to enhance the skills of our F&B staff. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Director of Food and Beverage and Director of Culinary to design and execute training plans that meet the needs of our F&B division.
- Work closely with a pool of departmental trainers to ensure consistent and effective training delivery across all operational departments.
- Promote and communicate training programs to employees, ensuring they are aware of the opportunities available to them.
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and creating a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
- Help colleagues identify specific behaviors that contribute to service excellence and ensure they receive ongoing training to understand guest expectations.
- Use effective training methods to ensure colleagues have a good understanding of guest satisfaction and can demonstrate guest satisfaction skills.
- Meet regularly with departmental trainers to support training efforts and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with operational leaders to assess employee performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Review guest feedback and other data to identify areas for improvement and ensure all training and development activities are strategically linked to our organization's mission and vision.
- Identify performance gaps and work with managers to develop and implement targeted training to improve performance.
- Align current training programs with key business indicators and participate in the development of the Training budget as required for the F&B Division.
- Manage departmental controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
- A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in F&B Service and training in a luxury hotel environment.
- Experience creating training content in a hospitality environment is preferred.
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to deliver to senior management at all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
- Good team player with proven ability to partner with business leaders and to cope with strategies to achieve sales targets, contribution objectives, and the efficient use of resources.
- Proven team management skills, including leading, motivating, and managing assigned team members to effectively deliver learning goals and objectives.
This is a full-time position that requires regular working hours and may involve working in a fast-paced environment.
