Program Manager Position Overview

This senior management role involves overseeing industrial activities related to technical data packs from OEMs. The successful candidate will work closely with Indian offset partners and Defence Australia to ensure seamless integration of capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting on day-to-day activities and issues to the Head of Industrial Support.
  • Aligning industrial capabilities of Indian Offset Partners with Defence Australia requirements.
  • Evaluating and interpreting OEM data packs, preparing MBOMs, and manufacturing data.
  • Solving production environment problems through analysis and discussion of technical queries in data packs/manufacturing.
  • Closely managing issues involving tooling, interchangeability, qualification plans, industrialization, and production engineering.
  • Monitoring end-to-end industrialization plans and coordinating with supplier shop floor teams.
  • Proactively identifying risks, developing action plans, escalating, and resolving bottlenecks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Aeronautical) degree.
  • Good knowledge of aerospace primary parts manufacturing/assembly along with industrialization and production engineering.
  • Program management/excution and supply management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage, and resolve conflicts.
  • Knowledge of interpretation/evaluation of drawings/CATIA.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications (MS Excel, Project, and Presentation).
  • Minimum 12-15 years' experience in the aerospace sector.
