Job Overview:

This role involves leveraging professional expertise to drive business performance through financial governance and audit compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective solutions to address complex business challenges, ensuring strong financial stewardship and regulatory adherence.
  • Plan, organize, and manage intricate financial operations across various units, maintaining efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze business processes to identify core issues and opportunities for improvement, driving data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure the timely completion of monthly closing procedures, preparing detailed profitability statements for senior management review.
  • Produce monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports with in-depth variance analysis and ageing reports.
  • Create and monitor budgets and forecasts (weekly, monthly, and quarterly); analyze variances and provide actionable insights.
  • Lead the internal audit department, implementing audit tools to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Design, implement, and monitor internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Submit and revise Internal Audit Charters and Audit Plans as required, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards, local tax regulations, and corporate policies, identifying areas for cost control and optimization.
  • Contribute to value improvement initiatives and capital expenditure project reviews, ensuring timely and cost-effective implementation.
  • Liaise with statutory and internal auditors for quarterly audits and financial reviews, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Coordinate with department heads for annual budget preparation and operational cost planning, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes, reconciliation, and other accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Maintain payroll and accounting records to ensure adequacy of information and compliance with policies.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess a CA or MBA in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration, with a minimum of 20 years of experience in auditing, financial analysis, and compliance.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in financial analysis, auditing procedures, financial planning, reporting, and audit tools.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to leverage this proficiency to drive business growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A willingness to conduct surprise audits and travel to overseas locations, whenever required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
