As a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the mobility landscape. This exciting opportunity presents itself at an emerging e-bike company that is revolutionizing the industry with its innovative approach to sustainable transportation.With a strong passion for design and engineering, you will be responsible for designing and developing automobile systems and EV-related systems, particularly focusing on two-wheelers. Your expertise will be invaluable in vehicle integration and management of Engineering Bill of Materials (BoM) and Engineering Change Notice (ECN).You will have a thorough understanding of materials and material properties, along with the ability to convert technical requirements into detailed and robust designs. Additionally, you will benchmark and coordinate with suppliers for Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA). If you are proficient in SolidWorks and have hands-on experience in part modeling, drafting, assembly, system layouts, and vehicle-level layouts, this could be your chance to make a meaningful impact.Benchmarking and coordination with suppliers for Design for Manufacturability and Design for Assembly is also expected from you. You will have a good knowledge of complete New Product Development (NPD) cycles and proficiency in design drafting of parts with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for vehicle systems.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and development of automobile systems and EV-related systems, particularly focusing on two-wheelers.

Software Skills:
  • Mastery of SolidWorks, with hands-on experience in part modeling, drafting, assembly, system layouts, and vehicle-level layouts.
  • Familiarity with PLM knowledge and expertise in HyperMesh and CAE analysis.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent behavioral skills, including teamwork, interpersonal communication, persuasiveness, self-discipline, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • Familiarity with basic electronics is an added advantage.
