Job Title: Executive Pastry Artisan

Overview:

The successful candidate will oversee the preparation and presentation of pastries, desserts, and other sweet delicacies. This role requires a strong understanding of kitchen operations, leadership skills, and creativity in menu development.

  • Preparation and cooking of various dishes at different stations following specified recipes.
  • Collaboration with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Overseeing the quality, presentation, and portioning of food items.
  • Maintenance of high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene during food preparation and service.
  • Offering mentorship and training to junior kitchen staff and participating in inventory management.
Requirements:

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated expertise as a pastry chef or executive pastry artisan.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment and collaborate with a team.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
