About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to lead our financial operations. As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive financial discipline, compliance, and process excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Reporting
- Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
- Partner with business teams to drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Controllership & Compliance
- Design and implement robust internal controls, accounting policies, and processes to ensure financial accuracy and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and coordinate with auditors for smooth audits and reviews.
- Drive automation and digitization of financial processes to improve efficiency.
- Process Excellence & Governance
- Establish governance mechanisms for financial discipline across all business verticals.
- Monitor cash flows, working capital, and financial risk management.
- Work closely with leadership to provide financial insights for strategic decisions.
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and accountability.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA or MBA with 1–8 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong background in controllership, accounting, compliance, and reporting.
- Experience in a fast-paced/startup/EdTech environment preferred.
- Expertise in financial systems, ERP, and automation tools.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
