Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned technology systems engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and engineering building technology systems, including ICT, Audio-Visual, Security, Home Automation, and Guest room management systems.

Collaboration with project leads, architects, and other engineers is essential to integrate technology systems within new and existing buildings.

Key Responsibilities:ICT:
  • Design fibre distribution for outside plant and in-building.
  • Create passive network designs at master plan and detailed infrastructure levels.
  • Develop digital infrastructure designs.
  • Design rack layouts with cable management expertise.
  • Optimize active networks with a strong understanding of QoS, redundancy, resilience, and network optimization for time-critical applications.
  • Design WiFi heat maps.
  • Create control room and data center rack designs with an understanding of Uptime Institute requirements.
  • Utilize CAD, 3D Revit, Sketch-up, and smart spaces integration.
  • Exhibit experience in hospitality sector design, retail design, master planning, and detailed design.
Security Systems:
  • Familiarity with Middle-East local security standards for UAE, Saudi, and Qatar.
  • Design CCTV systems for indoor and outdoor applications, including generation of Field of View drawings.
  • Develop CCTV designs at master plan and detailed infrastructure levels.
  • Understand Ministry of Interior (MoI) requirements and have experience in approvals for MoI packages.
  • Work with electronic security systems, including VSS, ACS, intrusion detection, intercom, and vehicle HVM barriers.
  • Design security control rooms and equipment rooms.
  • Design security IP networks with cable management, power, and cooling understanding.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (E&CE, Electrical, or related field).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in building technology systems or related fields.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).
  • Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and sustainability practices.
  • Middle-East project experience is desired.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or similar sectors.
  • Experience with 3D modeling tools like Revit and SketchUp.
