Senior Digital Technology Specialist

We're seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Senior Digital Technology Specialist. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in leading high-availability database environments and ensuring seamless data management, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

About the Role
  • Experience with traditional server-based relational databases (SQL Server and Postgresql), including 5+ years of operational experience and 3+ years in public cloud environments (GCP and Azure)
  • Strong skills in database management systems, data modeling, and data warehousing
  • Proven track record in planning, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-availability database environments
  • Expertise in setting up health-checks and troubleshooting SQL backups, restores, and recovery models
Requirements
  • 5+ years of overall operational experience
  • 3+ years of Azure/GCP experience as a cloud DBA (SQL and Postgresql)
  • 3+ years of experience working in diverse cloud support database environments in a 24/7 production support model
  • Proficiency in SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL
  • Proficiency in python/powershell scripting - preferred
  • Secondary skill in MySQL/Postgresql - preferred
Preferred Certifications
  • Azure fundamentals certification (AZ-900) - REQUIRED
  • Azure Database Certification (DP-300) - preferred
  • AWS Certified Database Specialty - preferred
  • MCTS, MCITP, OCP certifications a plus
Education
  • B.Tech/BE/MCA in Information Technology degree or equivalent experience
