Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Visionary to lead our technology initiatives and provide expert technical leadership in all aspects of our business. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing technology strategies that align with our business goals.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce technology and be able to analyze and improve upon technology standards across the organization to maintain a competitive edge in the market. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing the overall technology strategy for the company
  • Creating an IT strategy to meet B2C customer and client acquisition through e-commerce technology
  • Leading the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions
  • Maximizing returns and benefits of investments in technology and tools
  • Communicating the company's technology strategy to management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders
  • Identifying market obstacles and technical hurdles and managing risks appropriately
  • Maintaining the latest knowledge of technology standards, emerging technologies, industry trends, and software development best practices
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 10-15 years' experience in a large-scale e-commerce environment
  • Thorough understanding of PHP, .Net, C#, SQL Server, MongoDB, Solr, jQuery, Angular, AWS, IIS, GitHub, Grunt/Gulp, Node.JS, Java/C, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of CGI Technology, 3D, AR, and/or VR
  • Excellent knowledge of AI and Recommendation Engine
  • Extensive design and development experience of e-commerce software applications life cycles from concept, architecture design, and QA to deployment
  • Experience in working with CRM systems i.e., payment gateways, shopping carts, merchant accounts, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
