Hydrographic surveying professionals are sought for a challenging position in the field of port and marine infrastructure development. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of hydrographic survey methods, including bathymetric surveys and marine geospatial analysis.

The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting detailed surveys, planning and executing survey work, analyzing data, and generating reports for stakeholders. A strong background in surveying methods, data analysis, and interpretation is essential for this role.

The job requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in hydrographic software such as CARIS, HYPACK, and GIS. Experience with multibeam sonar, single-beam echo sounders, and other specialized survey equipment is also necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct hydrographic surveys, including depth measurement, sub-bottom profiling, and current measurements
  • Plan and execute survey work, ensuring accurate data collection
  • Analyze survey data and generate reports for stakeholders
  • Operate and maintain advanced hydrographic survey equipment
  • Collaborate with engineers, environmental specialists, and project managers to integrate survey data into port development plans and coastal protection strategies

For this position, we seek candidates with a Survey Recorder Class I or Class II qualification and at least 10 years of experience in hydrographic surveying, particularly in port and coastal infrastructure projects. Solid understanding of marine and coastal environments, including tidal variations, water depths, and seabed topography, is also required.
