Coastal Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Coastal Infrastructure Specialist to lead the design, planning, and construction of coastal protection systems.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of key coastal infrastructure in the region. As a Coastal Infrastructure Specialist, you will oversee the development of innovative breakwater systems to ensure protection of port infrastructure.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Construction of Breakwater Systems: Lead the design, planning, and construction of rubblemound, vertical, and hybrid breakwaters to ensure protection of port infrastructure.
  • Project Management: Oversee coastal expansion projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Coastal & Marine Engineering: Apply expertise in hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport to optimize breakwater and shoreline protection systems.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with government bodies, environmental agencies, contractors, and consultants to ensure the project's smooth execution and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to HSE guidelines and sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact during construction.
  • Desired Skills & Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in coastal engineering projects.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing breakwater systems, including knowledge of materials, hydrodynamics, and coastal processes.
  • Ability to manage large teams and collaborate across departments to meet project goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in challenging coastal environments.
