Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Finance Manager to oversee key financial operations, including banking relationships, accounts payable, and Management Information Systems (MIS). This role plays a critical part in ensuring effective financial management, supporting the company's growth and operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

  • Banking & Financial Institution Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day banking relationships, ensuring smooth communication and timely execution of banking transactions.
  • Banking & Rating Documentation: Oversee and ensure the accuracy of all banking and rating-related documentation, including preparation and submission of required reports.
  • Data Bank Creation & Maintenance: Establish and maintain a comprehensive data bank for banking, rating agencies, and related financial information to facilitate quick access and informed decision-making.
  • Preparation of Financial Documents: Lead the preparation and documentation for Bank Guarantees (BG), Letters of Credit (LC), and other financial instruments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Financial MIS Preparation & Supervision: Supervise the preparation of all financial MIS reports, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and aligned with company goals.
  • Automation & Customization: Explore and implement automation and customization solutions for financial processes, including integration with SAP or other relevant platforms to enhance efficiency.
  • Accounts Payable (AP) Management: Lead and oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) team to ensure timely booking, payments, and accurate MIS reporting.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting & Payment Planning: Develop periodic payment plans and cash flow forecasts, ensuring liquidity management and aligning with business operations.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CA, CMA) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance, with significant exposure to banking relationships, financial documentation, and MIS preparation.
  • Prior experience in leading teams and managing key financial processes, including accounts payable and cash flow forecasting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
  • SAP exposure is preferred, but not mandatory; familiarity with other financial software platforms is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with banks, rating agencies, vendors, and senior management.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to motivate and drive team performance with minimal supervision.
  • Highly self-motivated with a 'go-getter' attitude, able to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess financial data and provide actionable insights.

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with additional benefits and bonuses based on individual performance. We also offer opportunities for career growth and professional development within the company.
