Product Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the merchandising and planning department, you will be responsible for leading the development of new products from concept to launch.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and executing global product strategies in alignment with the company's assortment strategy.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to secure product development and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Identifying and staying on top of trends and consumer insights to inform product decisions.
  • Providing critical information and insights to business stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
  • Responsible for educating and developing suppliers in product flow capabilities, complexity level, and customer understanding.
  • Ensuring a sustainable product development process through proactive problem-solving and sample handling.
  • Representing the product on the ground and playing an important role in resolving issues.
  • Developing local market assortments by creating relevant briefs, securing supplier collections, and selecting final products.
  • Utilizing jewellery design knowledge to understand design briefs and develop effective products.
  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in product development.
  • Knowledge of materials such as metal, plastic, stones, fabric, wood, etc.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Any graduate degree.
  • Postgraduate degree preferred.
