Student Guidance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Student Guidance Specialist. This role involves working closely with students to understand their academic and career goals, and providing guidance on the best courses and universities to suit their needs.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in counseling students, particularly in the study abroad sector. They should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Additionally, they should have good typing skills and be able to maintain accurate records.

  • Prior experience in shortlisting universities based on course, rankings, specialization, location preference, and financial ability of the student/parent is essential.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must - written and verbal.
  • Good typing skills and proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required.
  • Prior experience in counseling students is a must. Preferably from the study abroad sector.
  • Maintaining accurate records and providing clear information to students is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert guidance to students on university selection and application processes.
  2. Counsel students on academic and career goals, and help them identify suitable courses and universities.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions to stay updated on available courses and programs.
  4. Conduct presentations and webinars to educate students about various study options.
  5. Respond to student inquiries and provide timely support.
