Pricing and Growth Strategist Job Description:

This is a critical role in driving revenue growth through data-driven pricing strategies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in pricing methodologies, experimentation frameworks, and analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing pricing experiments across product and marketing touch-points.
  • Determining optimal price points for new and existing products using structured experimentation and data-driven insights.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and execute the pricing roadmap.
  • Conducting market, user behavior, and competitive research to inform pricing strategies.
  • Optimizing the subscription funnel by identifying and implementing data-backed improvements.
  • Translating research and experimentation results into actionable monetization opportunities.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and refining pricing models for maximum revenue impact.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3–5 years of experience in pricing, growth, strategy, or analytics roles.
  • Tier 1 academic background, ideally with a degree in engineering, mathematics, economics, or business.
  • Strong understanding of pricing methodologies (e.g., value-based, discounting, skimming) and packaging strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, multivariate testing).
  • Bonus: Familiarity with analytics tools such as Amplitude, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
