
Pricing Strategist

As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a key role in driving deal pricing across multiple engagement models. Your goal will be to ensure our positioning is competitive while protecting profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead deal pricing for pursuits across various contracts, analyzing and interpreting financial data to inform pricing decisions.
- Partner with sales and delivery teams to design commercial models that balance client competitiveness with our profitability objectives.
- Develop and maintain pricing models & cost sheets; ensure compliance with internal approval processes.
- Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess risks, margins, and financial impact of large deals.
- Track and publish win–loss analysis for submitted deals to identify pricing trends and improvement areas.
- Support preparation and review of business unit P&L statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Deliver monthly profitability reports, highlighting key variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Provide financial insights on market benchmarks, competitor pricing, and industry trends to strengthen pricing strategy.
- Contribute to corporate finance initiatives, automation of pricing models, and governance processes.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in deal pricing, financial modeling, and margin analysis, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of IT services business models, including contract negotiations and revenue recognition.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, financial systems, and scenario modeling tools, with experience in data analysis and visualization.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product teams.
- Business acumen to balance competitive pricing with long-term profitability, with a focus on driving revenue growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution is mandatory, with coursework in finance, accounting, and economics.
- 3–6 years of experience in deal pricing / business finance / FP&A roles within IT services organizations is mandatory, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and improving profitability.
- Experience supporting global/multi-geo deals is an added advantage, with knowledge of international markets and regulatory requirements.
