
People Operations Business Associate

We are seeking a seasoned Professional to join our team. As a key member of our People Operations department, you will play a vital role in advancing our company's mission by creating a great working environment for our global team.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of relevant work experience and a degree in Human Resources or a related field. You will be responsible for onboarding new hires, conducting background verification, connecting with team members to ensure high happiness and productivity, and partnering with leaders to resolve people-related conflicts or concerns.
We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, who can handle sensitive matters maturely, and has a knack for people. You should be empathetic, rational, and have outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience with a global team of over 250 people is highly desirable.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Onboarding new hires on their first day and guiding them through our policies.
- Managing all asset and access-related tasks for onboarding.
- Conducting background verification processes for all new hires in partnership with our vendors.
- Regularly checking in with new and existing team members to ensure a high happiness and productivity index.
- Partnering with leaders and management to resolve people-related conflicts or concerns.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for the team by answering questions related to our policies.
- Developing and implementing strategies to engage the team through online activities.
- Creating and managing all internal communications that fall under the purview of the People Operations team.
- Collaborating with leaders to draft policies and update our handbook to reflect our vision and values.
- Designing programs to minimize attrition and maximize retention.
- Conducting exit interviews and overseeing off-boarding processes from start to finish.
- Issuing necessary letters and emails for the team as required.
- Organizing team events and logistics management.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to strategize and execute people processes.
- Negotiating and closing partnerships with vendors to maintain end-to-end relationships.
- Coordinating salary changes and payroll processing with the Finance team within set timelines.
- Vetting paperwork and contracts related to people operations and talent acquisition.
