Localization Specialist Role

This position involves providing support and assistance to project managers and teams related to assigned projects, in accordance with SOPs, policies, and practices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support all project-related activities for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Utilize expertise in OCR management tools, Adobe Creative Suite, and other software applications to drive automation and efficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain best practices for multilingual desktop publishing teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A graduate degree is required, with a minimum 3 years of experience in localization.
  • Expert skills in OCR management tools, such as Abbyy FineReader and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other common software applications.
  • Experience working in a global localization DTP team, preferably in a language service industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand the importance of turnaround times and quality expectations.
