Desktop Publishing Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Publishing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of high-quality desktop-published materials.

Responsibilities
  1. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
  2. Localization Experience: Essential experience in the Localization industry, with a focus on working with multiple languages in various software applications, including InDesign, MS Word, and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tasks.
  3. Technical Skills: A strong understanding of Acrobat Professional, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is preferred.
  4. Time Management: Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  6. Critical Thinking: Highly motivated and capable individual who can make sound decisions during critical situations.
  7. Flexibility: Flexibility to work irregular hours, including night shifts.
Requirements
  1. Operating System: Familiarity with both Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as basic knowledge of email, Microsoft Office, and the internet.
  2. Financial Project Management: A solid understanding of financial project management and formatting knowledge of financial tables.
  3. Business Applications: Experience with Citrix, Virtual Private Network (VPN), and other business applications.
  4. Localization Experience: Previous experience in Localization Desktop Publishing, text formatting, OCR tasks, and quality assurance checks.
