Cloud Security Professional

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Professional to join our team.

As a key member of our cloud security team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based solutions to meet the evolving needs of our organization and clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing secure cloud architectures using AWS services (VPC, EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, AWS CLI, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, AWS Config, Kinesis, Route 53, Dynamo DB, and SNS).
  • Implementing identity and access management (IAM) controls to manage user and system access securely.
  • Collaborating with cloud architects and developers to create security solutions for cloud environments by designing security controls and ensuring they are integrated into cloud platforms and compliance standards.
  • Monitoring cloud environments for suspicious activities and threats using tools like SIEM systems.
  • Automating cloud security processes using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • Implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure secure deployment and configuration.
  • Collaborating with DevOps, network, and software development teams to promote secure cloud practices and training and educating employees about cloud security best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and others.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance standards in cloud environments.
