Product Development Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of products used in control systems. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for executing product lifecycle management activities to achieve product management and financial goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the design, development, and enhancement of pneumatic accessories used in control systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product specifications based on application requirements and industry standards.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation using CAD tools.
  • Developing and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, test procedures, Engineering Master and updates.
  • Planning and executing product testing for performance, durability, and compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI, ASME).
  • Analyzing test results and implementing design improvements to ensure product reliability and safety.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in the field of Pneumatic accessories used in Industry.
  • Sound knowledge of Industry equipment, Instruments, ASME Standards.
  • Sound knowledge of CAD and PDM software (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Good awareness of Mechanical Product Design.
  • Knowledge of G D&T, international standards like ASME, PED would be an added advantage.
  • MS office, Outlook skills.
Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the above requirements, it would be beneficial if you have:

  • CAD Experience in SolidWorks.
  • Knowledge and understanding of P&ID layouts.
  • Experience in Pneumatics and Hydraulics systems.
  • Certification in Pneumatics and Hydraulics is an advantage.
