We are currently seeking a skilled Hydraulic Systems Designer to join our team.

This consultant assignment is for 6 months and involves the design, analysis, and preparation of drawings for irrigation infrastructure such as dams, barrages, micro-irrigation systems, canal networks, and related hydraulic structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design hydraulic structures using standard engineering codes and software.
  • Develop micro-irrigation system layouts, pipe network designs, and hydraulic profiles for efficient water distribution.
  • Prepare hydraulic modelling, flow calculations, and hydraulic grade line diagrams for irrigation and water management projects.
  • Create detailed drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent design tools.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Water gem, or similar hydraulic modeling tools.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in the design and drawing of dams, barrages, canals, micro-irrigation systems, and related structures.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, irrigation techniques, flow analysis, and pipe hydraulics.
  • Familiarity with WRD, CWC, Govt Guidelines, and state irrigation department practices.
  • Excellent technical documentation, report writing, and communication skills.
