Senior Associate – COCE Trade Processing Job Description

This position involves monitoring and managing Corporate Actions across global positions. It ensures efficient scrubbing, timely notifications, accurate bookings, smooth election processes, and effective reconciliation while minimizing operational and market risks.

The role requires the ability to:

  • Scrub and set up Corporate Actions in operating systems (e.g., Picasso).
  • Monitor Corporate Actions across reliefs and identify eligible global positions (Settled/Pending trades, SLAB).
  • Follow-up on events' announcements, forecasts, and deadlines to ensure accurate notifications and bookings in general books and recording systems (e.g., Calypso, Power, Picasso).
  • Manage election process for voluntary events with internal teams, compile aggregated instructions, and ensure proper receipt by custodians/agents.
  • Handle all Corporate Action types within the team's scope.
  • Provide regular reporting to hierarchy and contribute proactively in meetings.

Responsibilities also include adhering to compliance rules and mitigating operational/reputational risks. Escalation of operational risks is prompt when detected. Strong relationships with domestic agents, custodians, and other internal departments are maintained. Management is kept informed about potential issues or risks.

Minimum 5 years of experience in the field is required.
