Executive Banking Portfolio Leader

We are seeking an accomplished Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager to join our team at Wells Fargo Bank.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct thorough research on complex credit investigations and diverse credit information for loans, ensuring accurate risk assessment and mitigation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the scope of responsibilities or functional area, contributing to a more efficient and effective workflow.
- Review and analyze basic operational assignments that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives while exercising independent judgment to guide medium-risk deliverables.
- Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal as well as external customers, to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.
- A minimum of 3+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- An MBA (Finance/Banking), Cost and Management Accountancy, Chartered Accountancy, or post-graduation in Economics.
- At least 3 years of overall commercial credit experience across diversified asset classes, including corporate entities and real estate asset classes.
- Good knowledge of financial statements for various industries, with the ability to ascertain trends, ratios, and call out key risks when compared to benchmarks (historical and industry performance).
- Experience with Discounted Cash Flow, Comparable Company, and Precedent Transaction analysis. Working experience with Moody's Risk Analytics would be a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with special focus on business writing skills for credit reports.
- The ability to read, comprehend, and synthesize data regarding borrower performance/market-related information from multiple sources into one prescribed template.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills would be a plus.
$90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
