AI Customer Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build the core backend infrastructure that powers AI customer service agents.
  • Write highly scalable, production-ready Python code using Django.
  • Architect backend services and infrastructure for massive enterprise-grade scale.
  • Deploy and manage systems on cloud platforms like AWS or GCP with a focus on speed and reliability.
  • Collaborate directly with founders and engineers to influence architecture and direction.
  • Take ownership of projects from design to deployment in a fast-paced startup environment.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience with deep Python expertise and knowledge of Django.
  • Strong cloud skills with familiarity in Kubernetes/Docker.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling infrastructure in production.
  • Prior startup experience or evidence of end-to-end ownership as a founder, early team member, or shipped independent projects.
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent professional foundation.
  • Bonus: experience in high-velocity, high-ownership teams in startups, top-tier tech, or quant firms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python, cloud computing, and architecture. They will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a fast-paced startup environment.
