Lead Formulation Chemist

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry with hands-on experience in laboratory analysis.

This role is focused on batch processing, comprehensive analysis, quality and documentation, and innovation and scale-up. Key responsibilities include:

  • Batch Processing: Plan, manage, and execute development batches with precision and efficiency.
  • Comprehensive Analysis: Take full ownership of product analysis, including CDP (Chemical Development Project), AMV (Apparent Molecular Weight), PV (Peroxide Value), and other essential parameters.
  • Quality & Documentation: Uphold rigorous quality standards while maintaining thorough and accurate documentation.
  • Innovation & Scale-Up: Collaborate with R&D teams to troubleshoot, refine formulations, and scale up successful batches.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in chemical development or analytical laboratories.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CDP, AMV, PV, and analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, Spectroscopy).
  • A proactive leader who can take charge and work independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.

A Master's/Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related discipline is a requirement for this position.
