Telecom Engineer Role

We are seeking a Telecom Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing technical standards, procedures and workflows.

  • This role will assist the Head of Discipline in managing our organization and mentor junior engineers.
  • The successful candidate will conduct technical validation and quality assurance for feasibility studies, conceptual designs and execution phase engineering.
  • This role may require frequent travel to various locations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Topside Head of Discipline/Senior person to manage corporate organization.
  • Update and maintain EPCI and O&M Phase Lesson Learned database.
  • Ensure all engineering documents are prepared and developed in accordance with relevant design codes, standards and project specifications.
  • Provide engineering review and support for bid proposals.
  • Raise Technical Queries towards clients' project documents.
  • Manage interface with all relevant disciplines.
  • Mentor junior or less-experienced Instrument engineers.
  • Report Area of Concerns, Progress and Plan to Head of Discipline.
  • Ensure Compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop Project Design Philosophies, Standards, Procedure.
  • Working in Engineering Software - SPI.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, Pre-FEED, FEED, FEED Verification (Inception of EPCI Phase) and EPCI phase Engineering.
  • Develop Instrument calculations, studies and deliverables.
  • Closelong out comment/punches/recommendation from 3D Model, Constructability Review and etc.
  • Review Vendor Documents - Telecom Deliverables.
  • Provide engineering support for construction, commissioning and operation team.
  • Ensure as-built Telecom deliverables.
