Job Overview

The Telecom Systems Engineer plays a pivotal role in engineering activities for Topside facilities in FPSO/FLNG or Offshore facilities. This individual develops technical standards/procedures, workflow, and engineering platforms while keeping them updated, integral, practical, and fit to purpose with incorporating Project Lesson Learns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Senior Engineers / Lead Engineers to manage corporate organization and ensure all engineering documents are prepared and developed in accordance with relevant design code, standard, and client specifications.
  • Manage interface with all relevant disciplines to obtain necessary information for Instrument engineering or provide data to other disciplines for their engineering.
  • Develop Project Design Philosophies, Standards, Procedures, and work in Engineering Software - SPI.
  • Pre-FEED, FEED, FEED Verification (Inception of EPCI Phase) and EPCI phase Engineering, as well as develop Instrument calculations, studies, and deliverables.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Instrument/Electronics & Communication or equivalent Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Telecom design Engineering, working experience in Engineering Software SPI.
  • Fluent in English, with strong oral and written communication skills.
